Open PhoneDesq

Drag it to Applications and open it. The first time, macOS stops it: open System Settings › Privacy & Security, scroll down and click Open Anyway. After that it opens normally, from your menu bar and its own window.

Enter your key, plug in your phone

Paste the free licence key from your email into Settings › About & licence. Then plug in your phone, or scan the code on screen with its camera; PhoneDesq shows each step.

Unplug when you like

From then on PhoneDesq finds your phone on your Wi-Fi by itself.
